Community
St. Michael Preschool is a parish ministry of St. Michael Catholic Church. The parish is located in the Paradise Hills area of South San Diego. The Preschool serves children of the parish as well as children from neighboring communities (Bonita, Eastlake, Chula Vista, National City, Spring Valley).
History
St. Michael Preschool opened their doors in September 1990. Ms. Venus Elson and many generous parents coordinated a mini-marathon fundraiser. Many of St. Michael Preschool's students participated by running laps around our track to raise money to open a Preschool. The students who raised the most money participated in a bus trip to a water park in Palm Springs! Our utmost appreciation goes out to all these students who participated and made the dream of our past administration (Rev. Joseph Collier and Sister P. Weldon) come true - opening a Preschool at St. Michael Preschool!
Meet Our Director and Team
We have an excellent team! I know God puts people in the right places and our teachers were put here by God. Our entire team meets the requirements under Title 22 in accordance with the California Department of Social Services, which includes their requirements of units, CPR, First Aid, Mandate Reporter, and more. Each teacher is very caring and insures the safety and encourages the development of each and every student!
